What would you want, Desert. HOME WORK!!

So today I just did my Home work. Its about what would you want if you were stuck on a island without anything. You can only pick 3 things, If you didn't know we do this new activity when we have to go on our class website and pick something we can do for our homework. So today I picked if you were stuck on a island what 3 things would you want? we have to do 1 activity once week so its kind of easy, we have math too. Do you have Homework? if so what?. Bionic Arm! Vistor!!

                                                                        Hey Everyone

Wow Yesterday Mrs Tayler ( My teacher)  her Husband came in. Why? Because when he was 17 yr  he used to do horse racing and when he was doing the hay for them he got his hand caught in a shaft cutter. So he got half of his arm cut off which would be very scary. About 2 years ago he came into Rimu Class and he showed us his arm but it had a hook which was very cool. 3 weeks ago he got his Bionic arm, Yesterday he came in to show the class his arm it was so cool. he explain how he moves it around. he can 360 he hand around it was so cool. I got to shake his hand too.

Today I'm going to be showing you my home learning work, I did what Would I take from home if there was a fire in the house and we had to leave. I asked my mother what would she take. This was really fun to do but it took 45 minutes which was very quick I thought. Today I'm working from home as I don't feel well at all. Student Council!! 😊😄

                                                                           Hey everyone


So the end of last year people had to vote for student council for 2019, I got in which is very exciting. So couple of weeks ago we had our first meeting with this guy called Richard. We have a Student council blog post right here 

 In our Student council meetings we learn about where the ideas come from, They come from  memories.  Which was a cool thing to learn about, We do meetings every thursday at 1:00 - 1:45 pm. But sometimes we work on the stuff that needs to be done for Richard in class time.

i've heard sometimes we meet up with other schools and communicate  about lots of stuff. In our group we have (Jedi) (Mika) (Julia) (Nikoil) and (Mia) Mia is a year 7. So people got to vote for 2 year 8 and 1 year 7. Mia got the most votes for the Year 7s. For our head for Student  council are Jedi and Julia. :)

NEW BOOKS :O

                                                                        Hey everyone


Today the teachers wanted us to greet them on the mat ( The matt is where we get our instructions from)  They looked excited, Then they had two boxes right next to them. since I was a librarian last year I had to stamp the new books with Yaldhurst logo. They pulled out some sticks with our names on them and they got to open the boxes.

The first girl (Mia) got to open the first box. they pulled them all out then I had to stamp them all. Then another girl got picked out ( Renae) She pulled them all out then I stamped them all. It was exciting because there was so many good books stacked up.

 I was so tempted to look at one. All the students wanted to read them but they couldn't. All of these books are our classroom books because normally they would go to the library but no they stay with us instead.

3 little pigs! Homework

So the teachers have added more homework for us, I think it is actually fun. So every week we have to Math, Reading and a activity. We have lots of activities so I chose 3 little pigs. Not going  to lie but this took longer than I expected but it was fun. When we have finished the project on out slides then we have to post it on our blog. This was really fun to do, I hope you guys enjoy this!
